A dog training and walking service currently based in the Capital Region! Meghan uses positive reinforcement based training combined with her love for animal behavior to drive her services. At Spotted Snout we are committed to treating every dog as our very own, so you never have to worry! We strive to cater all our training and services to the needs of the dog and what makes them most comfortable.
ABOUT US
At Spotted Snout, we're passionate about helping dogs and their owners. Our founder, Meghan, has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and is a certified Professional Dog Trainer. She started her first business, Pawket Vet, during her time in college and has since dedicated her career to working with animals. Our team of experienced trainers work with dogs of all ages and breeds to address behavior issues and teach new skills. We believe that training should be fun and rewarding for both the dog and the owner.

We've used Meghan's services for walking our first dog while we traveled and later for helping introduce her to our new puppy. She's very attentive and fantastic at meeting the dogs' individual needs. She ensures they have a good time and are safe. (balancing walking the neighborhood vs playing in the yard when my girl got spooked by the wind).
She is easy to communicate with and shows up when she says she will. Will definitely use Spotted Snout again when we need dog help

I officiated at a small wedding yesterday where Meghan was hired to care for two dogs of the bride & groom. One of the dogs was clearly sick with some kind of stomach bug, but Meghan didn't hesitate one bit! She jumped right in and kept the dogs calm and happy while their parents got married! We used Spotted Snout for our wedding day. Meghan was amazing! Our dog Lillie can be quite shy and nervous, so leading up to the wedding, Meghan offered to meet with Lillie 3 separate times to make sure she was as comfortable was she could be for the wedding. Meghan even met us at the venue a few days before the wedding. On the big day, Lillie was so well taken care of. It meant so much to us to have Lillie be there for photos on our big day, and I am so grateful and thankful we met Meghan!

Need some extra time to focus on you? Want to help your furry family members burn off some extra energy? Busy day at work? We are here to help!
We offer walking session packages. In these walking sessions we will bring water and treats to keep our pack hydrated and happy! We will also send text updates, pictures and even track our walk so you can see how far we went!

PUPS PLUS ONE
Puppies are a joy, but they can also be a handful! Our puppy training program is designed to help your new furry friend learn important skills and behaviors. We focus on socialization, potty training, and basic commands such as sit, stay, and come. Our trainers use positive reinforcement techniques to make training fun and rewarding for your puppy.

PRIVATE TRAINING
We are currently offering private training. All sessions are, hour long in home sessions. The sessions will include personal instruction along with individualized information for “next steps”.
